We are a department with five district police officers; two School Marshals; five unarmed Safety Officers; we have six campuses ranging from PK-12, all contained in one city block.

We have one building that contains two campuses (according to TEA ID numbers) within one building. The Elementary and Primary campuses are connected with a cafeteria. I am assigning one police officer, a Safety officer (unarmed) to that building along with a confidential School Marshal. Will we need to submit for the "Good Cause Exemption" for the use of the School Marshal for one of these campuses? Since the two campuses are contained within one building structure, would this suffice, or by the letter of the rule would I need to supply two police officers for this building structure?
